Data Engineering Manager - Financial Services & Pharma Domain

Job Description :

- Responsible to work along with your team to deliver the projects as per the defined expectation within committed SLA

- Build the Financial Services & Pharma vertical, by expanding company's work with relevant clients and developing a strong team with deep expertise in required domain.

- Responsible for P&L - optimize cost and deliver these projects/programs with healthy margins (own profitability).

- Work with Sales/Customer success teams to develop the Financial Services & Pharma growth strategy and execute the growth plans (be accountable for revenue targets).

- Work on proposals across Analytics and Data to create a differentiating story that helps win projects in a competitive setup

- Build competitive solutions leveraging IP and project accelerators for strong Go to Market messaging

- Delivery of multiple client accounts and ensure customer delight

- Act as an advisor/consultant to clients enabling them on their Analytics journey and supporting them on various BigData and Analytics initiatives.

- Responsible for building highly engaged teams and also work on acquiring top talent

- As a thought leader, enabling building IPs that enable us to strengthen company's competitive advantage

Skills :

- Leadership skills in building sustainable analytics vertical aligned towards growth

- Hands on with Data Engineering especially with Big Data Ecosystem (E.g Data lake on cloud)

- Deep understanding of the Financial Services & Pharma domain

- Prior experience in leveraging visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI/Qlikview) to develop dashboards for various business usecases

- Executive presence with ability to engage Sr stakeholders effectively.

- Ability to work in ambiguous situations with unstructured problems and anticipate potential issues/risks

- Professional agility and strategic thinking

- Experience in handling complex information and presenting it in compelling narratives through business presentations for various audiences

- Sound financial acumen and ability to run a business function.

- Excellent project management, relationship building and organizational skills

Product Engineering :

- Expertise in engineering thinking and delivery best practices

- Thought leadership in Product engineering

- Should have the ability to manage P&L. Should be able to achieve revenue and margin goals.

- Should be well versed with Agile methodology and Delivery capability

- Should be Capability Building, Innovation/IP focus

- Should have the ability to hire, train, groom and nurture talent and build a responsive and high performing team

Must have skills :

- Proven track record in practice development, customer management, project delivery and people management in Enterprise Product Engineering
