Data Analyst (Turnaround) in leading NBFC Companies - Mumbai
Job Description:
Education: B.E. / B.Tech + MBA from tier I college
Location: Mumbai
- Develop, review and validate financial models to project P&L, working capital and cash flows for portfolio companies across industries, by analyzing and correlating key business drivers for cost as well as revenue'
- Understand entire procure to pay cycle, bill of materials, production and sale planning to build material requirement planning module to optimize working capital at company
- Understand the complete production / process flow chart, balance of plant, material flow etc., map capacity, identify bottleneck opportunities
- Conduct regular reviews for detailed variance analysis, identify controllable vs. non-controllable factors across production processes, procurement planning, vendor management, supply chain efficiencies, sales, business development etc.
- Monitor capital expenditure / project, identify critical path, project crashing, ensure project completion on time and within budget
- Analyse sales data, understand market trends, derive meaningful insights and provide valuable inputs
- Prepare monthly presentation to keep internal and external stakeholders updated on monthly performance review and turnaround progress update
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel and Power Point. Ability to write macros / VBA script will be desirable
- Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills
- Basic understanding of ERP like SAP, Oracle, Hyperion etc. will be a plus
- Knowledge of power BI will be a plus
- Ability to think out of the box / design thinking
- Stakeholder management and people influencing skills
- Ability to understand the business model, grasp the complexities and convert into a financial model
- Ability to synthesize the problem and break it down into simple manageable pieces
