Data Analyst - Life Insurance Firm

Our client is one of the leading private sector Life Insurance Company. It is listed on National stock exchange (NSE) and Bombay stock exchange (BSE).

Job Role - Data Analyst

Location - Mumbai

Responsibilities:

- Translate business requirements and hypotheses into analyses and insights to aid business decision making.

- Conduct full lifecycle activities which includes project requirement, data collection, data cleaning, data exploration/analysis, analytics, and reporting

- Ability to work with structured as well as unstructured data and derive meaningful insights- Understand and analyze data to drive business insights . Should have excellent problem-solving skills.

- Data visualization for easy consumption of data with senior management

- Preparing comprehensive reports basis analyzed data forecasting trends and predictions.

- Working with other team members from technical, product, engineering, and operation teams to stay on top of data management processes/systems

- Strong in Data analytics - should be proficient in SQL and should have good understanding of Python. Should be highly proficient in Excel; Knowledge of visualization tools like power BI or Tableau etc

Education Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's in Mathematics/Statistics/Data Science/Business Analysis or related discipline. An MBA with Top Tier Institutes in data science/Analytics

Desired Skills :

- 1-4 years experience in data analytics and python, preferably from BFSI sector.

- Interpretation of Data, deep understanding of data analysis and ability to translate complex data sets and ideas into simple visualizations and insights.

- Ability to work with structured as well as unstructured data- Efficiently work on Multiple Tools

- Advanced Excel including SQL & Python- Strong expertise in communication, presentation skills.
