The data analyst will be responsible for importing, transforming, validating or modeling data with the purpose of understanding or drawing conclusions from the data. Responsibilities : - Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers- preferences - Work closely with internal stakeholders (project team, survey team, quality control team) and external stake holders - Organize and manage data (including data collection, cleaning, cataloguing and storage) - Conduct statistical analysis and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to understand patterns, associations, relationships among key influencing variables with the usage of SPSS - Support the interpretation and visualization of results into actionable recommendations or process refinements - Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis - Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices Requirements : - Proven market research analysis experience - Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task - Very well versed with all functions in MS Excel (and Pivot) - Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office - Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen - Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (CATI, Web based surveys, etc) - Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining - Strong analytical and critical thinking - Strong communication and presentation skills - B.Sc degree in Statistics, Marketing or related field
