About the Job:

This role needs a focused approach on the line haul network of the road express business.

You will be - thinking, data crunching, and ideating - around the network optimization. This is not a type of problem which needs a one-time solution but requires continuous improvement.

Your knowledge of python is important to do the complex analysis quickly but understanding the network and thinking out of the box will be a constant requirement. We also have an AI model which provides you an opportunity to explore the RL model and improvement, but your primary focus will be python based manual analysis to come up with ideas to reduce LH cost as a percentage to the revenue.

Roles & Responsibility:

- To continuously realign network design of B2B road express to achieve lower LH cost (as percentage of revenue) and higher service (TAT and SLA)

- To constantly monitor network of 700+ schedules and 200+ ad-hoc vehicle with the help of various MIS reports and work on ideas to achieve above goal

- To work closely with National Head Network (Ops) to communicate the ideas and incorporate ground challenges in execution

Skills Required:

- The candidate should be well versed with data analytics with experience in python libraries numpy and pandas.

- The candidate should have basic knowledge of coding C/ C++/ Python

- The candidate should have a hunger to look for possible cost optimization of complex network without breaching service

- The candidate should be willing to learn business aspect apart from data analytics

Work Experience: 2-3 years of experience in cost optimization will be ideal.

Educational Qualification: B.Tech CS / IT (from renowned institutes only)

Competencies:

- The candidate should be self-motivated and come up with ideas on his/ her own

- The candidate should be willing to work with a very limited interaction or intervention

- The candidate should have a knack for technology such as GIS, Geopandas, pandas and numpy
