Data Analyst/Business Analyst (2-6 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
- Put on your business thinking cap to drive insights and action we can take to improve the business.
- Measure the metrics of our business and propose/implement projects to improve these metrics.
- Ensure KPIs are published and reviewed on a daily, weekly, monthly basis and perform analysis on any behaviors / processes that could impact on data integrity.
Required skills and Experience
- Bachelors/Masters in statistics, computer science, maths or related field
- 2 to 6 years of experience working with data
- Strong experience in building complex SQL queries
- Experienced in advanced use of Excel
- Strong logical & analytical concepts in databases, schemas, dimensional modelling
- End-to-end experience in building complex MIS and dashboards
- Scripting using R, Python will be added advantage
- Experience with big data platforms - Hadoop Ecosystem (Hive, Pig, Map Reduce, HQL)
- Good analytical skills and ability to understand the business and be able to relate the same to data
