Data Analyst - BFS (2-5 yrs)
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Data Analyst position will be inserted in the team "Operations" handling clients (Banks and Financial
Institutions) and looking in to Data Load/ Data Quality/ Data enrichment /OLM activities.
The position will be based in Pune.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expected to have good understanding of banking terms
- Interact with member to get the data on regular basis .
- Candidate should be able to extract and analyse data, and should come up with Data Quality Improvements/Suggestions on the client's data on a frequent basis
- Interacting and creating awareness with clients on Data Quality improvement by educating them about the scope and advantages of the same
- Creating MIS reports for management review / client discussion / analysis on a monthly basis or ad hoc basis
- Candidate should be keen to understand the business impact of the work at hand and should be able to address the business problem by leveraging his technical skill sets
- Improvements/Suggestions on current process
- ETL process back ground is plus
- Interacting and creating awareness with clients on OLM submissions by educating them about the scope and advantages of the same
- Creating MIS reports for OLMs / client discussion / analysis on OLMs.
Desired Skills:
- University degree ; Graduate/PG
- Should have worked in support department in captive units or IT Services companies
- We do not want associates who want to build a career in development stream as the tasks being performed are support related function
- SQL
- Good communication and client management skills
- Knowledge of Data warehouse/data marts is a plus
- 1-2 years' experience in equivalent or similar position
