What the role is:

- We are hiring for the position of Assistant Vice President, to lead the BI team based out of Bangalore,India.

- In this role, you will lead a team of analysts and developers with diverse skills, building data and visualization solutions to identify key business initiatives, measure their success and support the organization's client obsession goals by providing a superior business outcome.

- You will be responsible for the day to day running, upkeep and optimization of BI assets as well as cater to emerging business needs in a responsive manner.

- You will guide, support and mentor the team on technical solutioning and should be ready to roll up your sleeves when needed.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of work experience largely in the Business Intelligence & Data Management space

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a role that manages team members

- Strong understanding of Data modelling concepts and excellent SQL skills

- Exposure to Python, PySpark/Scala/Spark

- Hands-on experience in one or more big data technologies

- Working experience on BI Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker is a plus

- Prior experience working in Customer experience, Operations, etc. is desirable.
