Required Skills:

- The ideal candidate should have worked with an IT company in BFSI vertical or someone who has experience working in IT division of a bank.

- Overall experience between 3+ years of working experience as System/business analyst from several projects/tasks of various sizes ranging from small to large.

- Perform full business analysis by analyzing and synthesizing information provided by stakeholders.

- Gather and document the requirements. Ability to communicate the requirements effectively to team members.

- Plan business analysis approach and activities in projects and tasks.

- Analyze and understand the business and system landscape. Copes large number of business rules with high complexity.

- Thorough, structured, efficient contribution to creation of test cases and well documented test execution.

- Own end-to-end test life cycle for entire project/tasks.

- Creation of manual test cases/test matrix for positive, negative and regression tests.

- Working experience in executing the manual test cases and documenting the test results.

- Create effective test strategies and test plans.

- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression). Document and analyze the results. Report bugs and errors to development teams. Help troubleshoot the issue.

- Plan and co-ordinate user acceptance test.

- Manage stakeholders by providing status/update and any relevant report.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in working with cross functional teams / cross location teams.

Preferred skills:

- Banking domain specifically in mortgage and loans domain is an advantage.

- Mainframe Testing skills or background of having been a Mainframe developer is an advantage.

- Familiarity with agile framework.

- Ability to assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.

- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.

- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

- Knowledge of JIRA/Zephyr and RQM.
