More information can be found at www.danone.in Role and Responsibilities : - Senior Manager- Co-manufacturer &amp; Supplier QA handles selection and evaluation of Co-manufacturers with the SSD Team such that the selected manufacturers follow the Danone co-manufacturing standards. He/she also drive continuous improvement at the co-manufacturer location in terms of infrastructure processes and Capability Development. In addition, he/ she handles selection and evaluation of suppliers, risk mapping and develop mitigation plans along with SSD teams. As a part of QOR team drives Supplier related Productivity projects. Validates RM PM specifications for QFS and directs improvements on the same in collaboration with a factory. He/she also sets up QFS programs for agricultural supplies. - Delivers the value promises to the customer and/or consumer by ensuring conformity in supply chain processes and behaviors. Main Duties and Functions :&nbsp; Co-Manufacturing: - Ensures that the manufactured finished products are compliant with the vague promises to the customer/consumer and Danone Quality requirements (Food Safety, Specifications). Upstream: - Works closely with SSD/Operations team on Co manufacturers selection and evaluation; with - veto- authority. - Ensures that all the Danone co-manufacturing standards are implemented at co-manufacturing site - Validates control and monitoring plan. Animation of quality performance management - Steers Co manufactured products Food Safety &amp; Quality continuous improvement programs (Co manufacturers audits, relevant quality KPI- s). - Validates the effectiveness of the traceability system. - Manages the yearly overall performance and improvement plan with SSD department. Technical support: - If needed provides technical support and expertise in quality related problem solving, risk analysis and crisis management. - Identify capability gaps at co-manufacture QA team and works with co-manufacturer &amp; SSD team to fill the gaps - Quality Culture: Drive I Care program at co-manufacturers Budget Control: Prepares and controls Opex budgets for co-manufacture QFS activities Supplier: Ensures that RM &amp; PM are compliant with the vague promises to the customer/consumer and Danone processes requirements (Manufacturing, Supply Chain) Upstream (Supplier Quality) : - Contributes to Suppliers selection and evaluation; with - veto- authority. - Conducts annual supplier risk mapping and risk mitigation plans including annual audits - Validates RM, PM specifications regarding Quality &amp; Food Safety, fosters specifications improvement in collaboration with a factory. - Supports business continuity and cost efficiencies by developing new suppliers Performance management : - Steers the RM PM Food Safety &amp; quality continuous improvement programs at Suppliers based on Danone standards (suppliers audits, relevant quality KPI- s, quality monitoring of RM PM). - Contribute to dual sourcing &amp; booster projects/initiatives. Technical support : - Sets up food safety &amp; quality programs for agricultural supplies. - Provides technical support and expertise in quality related problem solving, risk analysis and crisis management. Down Stream (Supply Chain Quality) : - Defines storage and transportation specifications - Ensures quality feedback from Customers/CBU's (interco) ; - Carries out DAN Aff audits to measure conformity within the Supply Chain &amp; on the market ; - Leads quality continuous improvement plans within SC. - Provides technical support and expertise in quality related problem solving, risk analysis and crisis management. - Validates the effectiveness of the traceability system. - Animates on shelf quality monitoring and product superiority measurements. - Trains &amp; animates logistics people on Quality KPI. Quality Culture : - Drive P4Q program as part of I Care Budgets: Prepare, monitor and control budgets related to S&amp;amp;SC team activities Main Duties and Functions -&nbsp; Organization / Reporting The incumbent will report into Director - Quality Job Specifications Education: Graduation or Post-Graduation in Food Science and Technology Experience Needed (Professional) : - 10+ years relevant experience working with Reputed Food Company - Leadership Competencies
