Chief Financial Officer - CA - Contact Center/ Call Center/Telecom (11-17 yrs)
Position Summary :
- The CFO West Africa would be responsible for managing financial functions of the Business Unit.
- Formulate and administer the overall strategic financial plans and administrative & business controls based on company policies.
Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
- To be in-charge of the overall financial accounts and systems, revenue recognition and general accounting policies and procedures for West Africa region.
- Responsible for Accounting & Costing, Inventory Management, Taxation & Auditing for West Africa region for all entities of Midcom Group.
- Advising on corporate risk, profiling and management, including safeguarding, assets, risk avoidance and insurance
- Establishing strategic cost management systems / techniques for monitoring various overheads and achieving maximum cost control in operations.
- Responsible for Fund Management, Debtor Management & Credit Control.
- Establish Risk Management framework & internal Control mechanism
- Custodian of financial information to all internal & external stakeholders
- Responsible for maintaining banking relationships and treasury functions.
- Manage the consolidation of the business in the Nigeria region, reporting, and compliance.
Minimum Qualification and Skills :
Academic and Professional Qualification :
- Qualified Chartered Accountant preferably with ICWA/ICSI/MBA - Finance from a reputed institution
Attributes : Excellent written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, proficient with PCs for analysis and modeling, creative thinking, economic, and analytical skills.
Experience :
- Experience establishing financial controls and establishing financial strategies.
- Ability to make recommendations including expense controls, asset management, and product management.
- Analyze and understand the root causes of the business unit's financial results and provide concrete suggestions for improvement.
- Communicate and enforce established finance and accounting standards. Monitor, evaluate and develop planning and forecasting processes and systems and implement changes required for improvement.
- Responsible for overseeing preparation of annual budgets including negotiating agreement on specifics of the budget with various segments of the BU and external organizations.
