Core Responsibility:

- Lead formula development, stability evaluation, evaluation of formula properties and communication of results.

- Conduct assigned activities/projects under guidance of Team Leader or HOD as necessary.

- Guide direct reports on projects

Day to Day Responsibilities:

- Lead projects with low to medium level of complexity

- Identify and lead alternate RM supplier projects

- Support Packaging development projects

- Identify potential cost saving initiatives

- Support Team Leader/ HOD as and when required for projects

- Ensure authentic, correct and timely documentation

- Raise analytical and micro testing requests for self and team

- Bring ideas for new claims for existing and new products

- Trouble shoot any formulation challenges on and off production shop floor

- Collaborate and work closely with Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, Purchase, Manufacturing, Packaging, 3P teams as and when applicable

- Support prepare INCI as per Regulatory requirements

- Lead for technology transfer and related documentation

- Develop DEMOs and showcase technology that can be helpful to communicate the product technology

- Help identify opportunities for filing patents and publish research papers

- Present the data and information as applicable to team

- Support Technology transfers at plant locations

- Participate in cross functional team meetings

- Communicate learning from development work to internal business partners and senior management.

- Ensure accurate documentation such as notebooks, necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's

- Request for quote and follow procedure to raise Purchase Order

- Check delivery of goods and initiate Goods receipt note for self and team

- Monitor competitive activity and consumer trends.

- Participate in "on the ground" consumer observational studies.

- Support in maintenance and up keep of lab

- Work with vendors and bring new ideas for business

- Perform Global technology scouting and bring new ideas to business

- Present monthly the project highlights to R&D leadership team

- Help install new equipment's & Perform daily calibration of instruments
