Cyient - Pricing Lead

As Pricing Lead the incumbent is expected to develop and implement pricing strategy for Cyients products and services. This person will own specific pricing projects and develop pricing recommendations to be presented to senior leadership. The Pricing Lead is expected to accomplish these objectives through research and analysis of competitive pricing dynamics and development of robust pricing models for Cyients products and services.

Specific areas of interest includes pricing for product development that have significant upfront cost and recovery over multiple years.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Conduct analysis and modeling based on key pricing inputs to develop optimal pricing recommendations A clear understanding of risk and pricing model to account for the same these include market risk, technology risk, currency risk, input cost risk etc. Present recommendations to senior management

- Identify and highlight key strategic considerations surrounding each pricing request Coordinate the collection of cost, volume, revenue, and operational information across business units Consolidate and manage pricing knowledge over time to provide context for pricing decisions Ongoing process improvement (e.g., create repeatable process for analysis like customer adoption, win/losses, margin degradation/ improvement)

Expectations :

- 12 to 16 years of business experience working in a pricing role. Candidates who have experience of pricing for products and services will be preferred. Experience working with multinational organizations that are OEMs or Tier-1s. Highly self-motivated with a track record of taking ownership

- Ability to interact with senior management; strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to synthesize information into key messages appropriate for the audience

- High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to work cooperatively and forge relationships across multiple business units Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail, Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Demonstrated project management skills

Qualification: MBA (full time) (Preferred) / CA
