BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & SOLUTIONS SUPPORT ROLE

MY CLIENT is fast growing San Francisco / Silicon Valley headquartered enterprise software company focused on privacy compliance and risk management. In addition to San Francisco, MY CLIENT has offices in New York, London and India; and serves clients globally. It is backed by some the most prestigious and successful private equity firms and CEOs of global Fortune 500 corporations. MY CLIENT is recruiting for a Business Development and Solutions Support Executive. The role is global, based in India, and focused on providing business development and product related support for sales and client implementations.
ROLE -
We are seeking an intelligent and highly-motivated business development and solutions support consultant. The primary responsibility is to provide business development and product-related technical support to our sales team and our strategic partners. In addition, this individual will also have responsibility for supporting implementation activities including training and initial rollout. The candidate will need to have strong business acumen, client-facing skill, technical orientation and product expertise to deeply understand MY CLIENT products. Additionally, the candidate will need to have strong communication and client facing skills and experience. This position is based in Bangalore. The individual will likely need to travel to prospects and customers, and to engage in onsite customer work, when required.
RESPONSIBILITIES -
Candidates will need to be client savvy, as well as both commercially and technically minded and comfortable working for a dynamic organization across multiple time zones globally with a rapidly expanding customer base. Key responsibilities include:
1. Business Development Support -
- Work directly with and support the Managing Director of International Business on sales opportunities and client discussions.
- Collaborate closely with the global team based in San Francisco and New York on the opportunities.
- Support in preparing client proposals, sales collaterals, etc.
- Represent the company in marketing events and industry seminars
- Support sales operations such as pipeline management & reporting, weekly sales calls, etc.
2. Sales Technical & Product Support -
- Understand and qualify customer objectives & needs and effectively articulate
- MY CLIENTs ability to meet those
- Work with operations team to set up client demo environments
- Conduct sales demos with all levels of client organizations these could be on-site or remotely via webinar sessions or at conferences and trade shows
- Work with the broader support team to set up the sandbox environment for client use.
- Support Proof-of-Concept planning and implementation
- Support RFI / RFP process
- Client Implementation & Training
- Work with the MY CLIENT professional services team to build an implementation plan
- Mapping customer needs to any potential project
- Work with professional services team to set up clients in production environment
- Conduct implementation support and training including help create centers of excellence within reseller organizations
- Support resellers as the domain expert on MY CLIENT products
- Coordinate problem escalation to other staff members. Communicate resolution to appropriate IT staff and system users.
- Train Sales and Customer Support Associates in the APAC region, on new product features and capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS -
- 3 to 8 years in Client facing business development and solutions support roles and / or management / technical consulting
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering degree with some business management curriculum
- Experience with Enterprise applications software / solutions providers - desirable
- Experience working for a technology or solutions consulting firm - desirable
- Professional Services, and/or Product Management/Solutions Management experience
