Customer Success Consultant - Education Solution Sales - Japanese Firm

- One of our Japanese client which is the number 1 education company of Japan and the 4th largest in the world is planning to enter India in the K12 education space from Academic

- Year 2021-2022, serving some of the leading schools through a Proof of Concept (PoC) on their core student assessment and study support offering.

Description of the role:

At present, our client has a dedicated team from Japan supporting India operations (some of them being based out of India from March 2021) .

Our client is looking for a high-performing consultant to work with them in a customer success role . The role requires the professional to work with the client team to successfully roll-out the PoC at the partner schools.

Specifically, the person should be:

a. Comfortable working with the management, principals, teachers, students and parents in the partner schools; and ensuring client achieve superior customer satisfaction. This may mean helping roll-out student assessments with the teachers, facilitating counseling sessions for action planning with teachers based on the assessment results, providing handholding support to the teachers and management to execute the action plan, organizing overall PoC review with the management on a regular basis.

b. Working with the clients content and product teams in Japan to provide feedback from the schools on required refinements. Also, provide a view on what product value additions could help achieve greater impact. In addition, working with 3rd parties (e.g. other teachers/experts in India) to validate content before it is discussed with the schools

c. Adept at building and maintaining client relationships at multiple levels (e.g. administration, teachers, principal, management at the PoC schools)


a. Passion for education transformation and a business mindset at the same time

b. Around 3-4 years of professional experience either with a premier strategy consulting firm or a leading B2B education/edtech company serving schools in a similar role

c. Undergrad/grad degree from a top tier University in India/outside
