Compliance Officer - India

Responsibilities:

Incumbent will report to the Asia Pacific Compliance Director with a dotted line reporting to the Executive Director & associate general Counsel, India & SEA.

Ideal incumbent should possess a multi-faceted background across the risk management and compliance professions, preferably with expertise in anti-corruption and economic sanctions and data privacy.

He/ She must be able to exercise outstanding judgment, unquestionable integrity, superior interpersonal and influencing skills, and experience creating and maintaining sustainable, risk-based compliance programs.

Incumbent will also be expected to

1. Assist in developing and maintaining policies, processes and controls for risk management and compliance

2. Create and deliver communications and trainings,

3. Audit and monitor compliance to Cushman & Wakefield's policies and applicable laws, including labour laws

4. Assist legal in labor law compliance dealings

5. Conduct investigations and risk assessments, and

6. Serve as subject matter expert for legal, finance and business groups throughout India.

Requirements:

- Degree qualifications in Law, Accounting or Management.

- Minimum 3 years of related professional experience.

- Candidate with related experience in corporate real estate environment would be highly preferred.

- Significant compliance experience, including Anti-corruption, labour laws and Economic Sanctions experience.

- Knowledge of corporate insurance programs would be desirable.

- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, changing environment.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and team management skills

- Superior oral and written communication skills

- The role will be based in Gurgaon and the candidate must be willing to travel with India.
