WeGuide consists of a web/mobile application for patients and an admin portal for clinicians and researchers. - As an ideal candidate, you will lead with passion, communicate clearly &amp; compassionately, and provide clarity of vision through strategic thinking and great technical understanding. What you'll be doing: - Lead and develop the engineering team - Facilitate opportunities and seek continuous improvements in the product - Lead design, planning and technical risk mitigation activities - Initiate, build and maintain effective relationships and engagements with strategic vendors, healthcare providers and other government agencies - Help shape and grow WeGuide. - Lead by example, promoting good engineering practices and development processes - Create and execute product engineer's training &amp; development plans - Ensure exemplary quality standards in all our product offerings. - Oversee development efficiency through the implementation of new tools &amp; frameworks What we- re looking for: - Experience with developing for web &amp; mobile-based platforms (Rails or Angular/Ionic as a preferred stack) - Proven track record of leading small to medium teams of Engineers (front end, back end, full-stack developers) in an Agile product build environment - Expert knowledge of non-functional aspects of the product/application, such as security, performance, integrations, change &amp; release management - Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to deal with clients directly - Continue contributing to the codebase of the project.
