Cuemath - Head - Curriculum

As a Head Curriculum Designer, you will be heading the core team of content developers, curriculum designers and subject matter experts that creates math content for KG-12 grade students.

Key Responsibilities : 

- Creating strategy for engaging Mathematics content that, develops a passion and love for mathematics in students.

- Building an integrated understanding of different topics within mathematics

- connects mathematics to other disciplines like science, coding etc.

- Contribute to the work of the leadership team in creating engaging content

- Overall responsibility for all curriculum matters, developing holistic and thematic approaches to learning that meet the needs of individuals.

- Implementation of online learning resources and programmes of study

- Overall responsibility for the quality of content, monitoring and evaluating its effectiveness and impact

- Lead on the monitoring of content progress

- Lead on target setting for the team

- Compile and make available target and progress data for the purposes of planning and reporting

- Work alongside the Head of product

Skills : 

- A consistently good or outstanding classroom practitioner able to lead by example

- Experience of curriculum development and leadership

- Experience of developing online resources and programmes of study (desirable)

- Minimum 10 Years- experience (of which at least 4 years should be teaching school math or developing learning resources).

- Good knowledge and understanding of on-going curriculum developments, including the changes

- An understanding of how target setting. Knowledge of effective pedagogy, including innovative and engaging approaches to learning

- Understands child psychology

- Managed large size projects for EdTech

- Passionate teacher and a true math lover

- Personally, developed curriculum for Maths for K-12 grades and developed as a leader over the period

- Highly professional

- Outstanding communication skills

- Excellent Team leader

- Ability to develop the capacity in others

Education qualifications:

- A graduation degree in Mathematics or similar numerate discipline (master's degree preferred)

- Qualified Teacher Status

- Evidence of leading/developing staff

- Evidence of leading learning and curriculums
