Cuemath - Content Developer - Math + Coding

About you :

- Deep knowledge and expertise in Math and Computer science.

- Strong content writing skills preferably in math or computer science domain.

- Teaching or tutoring experience at the K-12 level, giving you a deep empathy with teachers and classrooms.

About the role :

- We are looking for an enthusiastic person who will develop detailed lesson plans based on curriculum maps, standards, and other specifications. You will be responsible for designing grades/course appropriate lesson plans and games on the platform in use. 

- This role will also necessitate researching best practices and recent innovation as far as learning programming is concerned. A part of your role will also involve developing projects and formative assessments that will help us monitor student progress. As a content person, you will also be required to do timely data analysis and suggest product enhancements. Also Facilitate the preparation of materials, such as activities, projects, study guides, and teacher's notes that align with the lessons.

Education :

- Graduation in Computer Science or Equivalent.

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Education (preferred).

Experience :

- K-12 teaching experience (online or in-person).

- At least 1 year of content writing experience in math or computer science that has been used in the online, public, or private school/Edtech environment.

- At least 1-year of hands-on experience in teaching or working with children from Grades 1 to 6.

Skills :

Communication and interpersonal skills:

- Fluency in programming languages.

- Good know-how of learning applications and platforms for K-12 students.

- Comfort with ambiguity and open to challenges.

- A true passion for making kids the next-gen innovators.

- An empathetic approach towards teachers and students.
