JOB DESCRIPTION :

Posting Title : AVP Designs

Role Description : Responsible to design the Electrical works of Datacenter

Major Work Responsibilities :

- Design & Preparing the drawings for Electrical works in adherence to NBC,IEC, IS & International codes

- Preparing all equipment and electrical tender BOQ's with all technical specifications

- Ensure that the queries and concerns raised by contractors regarding project execution, quality standards and safety, material delivery etc. are resolved in a timely manner

- Provide daily updates to Design Manager on the status of the progress in the area supervised

Job Pre-requisites :

- 20+ years of experience in Electrical design works.

- Preparing the Discrimination study, Short circuit calculations, Earthing calculations, Cable schedules, load calculations

- Experience in design datacenters is must

- Should have sound knowledge on TIA - 942 and UPTIME standards

- Should sound knowledge on UPS, Transformers, Panels & DG Sets

- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. 

- B.Tech./B.E. degree in Electrical stream or equivalent technical training

- Should have experience in AUTO CAD, REVIT

- Design & Preparing the drawings for HVAC/Mechanical works in adherence to ASHRAE, IS & International codes

- Preparing all equipment and HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting tender BOQ's with all technical specifications

- Ensure that the queries and concerns raised by contractors regarding project execution, quality standards and safety, material delivery etc. are resolved in a timely manner

- Provide daily updates to Design Manager on the status of the progress in the area supervised
