CTO/Technology Head - Startup - Part Time - IIT/NIT/BITS

A Mumbai based start-up looking for CTO/Technology Head who will define and own product technology stack and roadmap with required scalability and innovation.The startup is ready to launch its first social app as MVP and is planning to launch complete platform in first half of 2016.

The candidate will lead the design, architecture, and implementation for the platform and associated services and will be responsible for product robustness to handle required scale and agility. The candidate needs to be based out of Mumbai and can work part time as suited to him or her

Job Description :

- Leading the Technology as a function for the Company

- Managing Technology and Product Verticals of the Company

- Take end-to-end decisions for complete technology stack (hosting, DNS, Load Balancing, Security, Language, Storage, Notifications, Monitoring etc.)

- Strong Technical skills with hands-on experience on mobile app and website development.

- Deep knowledge to solve complex technical problems and support the team hands on

- In charge of product delivery, quality, architecture and operations

- Manage projects, timelines and releases

- Prior Experience in mobile apps/websites is a Must.

- Actively promote a culture of innovation within the organisation

Compensation :

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or has equivalent work experience)

- Bachelor's from IIT/NIT/BITS preferred but not mandatory

- Prior Startup experience will be helpful
