It is the only Indian Funding Organization and works for the upliftment of underprivileged Indian children.  Your Challenge:  At CRY, every single person works towards creating a more just world for children. You'll be using your professional skills and experience to help restore to underprivileged Indian children their basic rights to-survival, development, protection and participation. CRY has a holistic approach to development based on the child rights framework with community empowerment as a key ingredient. It also places a strong emphasis on networking with other NGOs and advocacy efforts to influence macro policies for children.  Your Role  - You will be managing the Media Advocacy for the North region of CRY and also assist in generating content and creation of the National Media Advocacy plan. You will be forging high impact partnerships at both Regional & National levels, both online and print.   - You will generate content for all forms of media from CRY intervention areas and other sources that will communicate to stakeholders the activities of CRY. You will also contribute to the conceptualization of campaigns and their implementation.  You  - You should be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Mass Communication or Journalism with 6+ years experience in journalism or media advocacy.   - An understanding and experience of the media/ PR industries - a background in journalism is a huge plus.   - Excellent communication skills and understanding of issue based advocacy is required.   - You must also have an understanding of the regional media in north India and Hindi language media   Salary offered: 9 - 10 LPA
