Senior Analyst - M&A ( Orkla - Norwegian Conglomerate )


Part of M&A team of Orkla (USD4+ billion revenue) a global FMCG company with significant footprint in India

Key responsibilities :

1. M&A pipeline: Contribute to the identification, analysis and pursuit of potential targets in cooperation with the central M&A team.

2. Acquisitions (or Disposals): Together with the India Team Lead, take project execution responsibility and ensure best practice execution of transaction processes.

3. Contribute to project management and ensure day-to-day tasks are completed

4. Together with the India Team Lead, responsible for considering and contracting local financial advisors (corporate and due diligence) in cooperation with the central M&A team

Experience :

1. Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in corporate transactions/M&A (including experience from investment banking, corporate advisory or corporate M&A with End to end transaction experience including few deal closures)

2. Experienced with financial modelling, valuation, due diligence management, presentations and stakeholder management

Education - MBA or similar level degree from Tier 1 institutes in India

Other skills :

1. Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills

2. Strong project management skills

3. Excellent people skills

4. Good commercial and business understanding

5. Structured way of working
