ROLE POSITION NAME : Manager International Business. looking for candidates with relevant experience in International sales. Must have worked in International geographies on Channel expansion activities.

Reporting to: AVP International Business

Department: International

1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

- Exports Business development

- Market data / MIS, Competitors activities

- To enhance Brand Equity and ensure adherence to laid down procedures of the department.

- Budget achievement within available resources for respective territories

- Ensure timely Payments

- Communication flow with internal and external customers

- New customer development

- New product introduction

- Explore new business avenues

- Understand market needs in terms of product technical requirements, standards to be followed

- Understand taxes, duties, competition strategies, pricing

- Product benchmarking, market feedback for product development, certifications

- Quality issues resolution

- Processing of customers- orders, Production planning, Coordination with respective product lines

- Understanding of INCO terms, Letter of credits, shipping procedures,

- Technical understanding of products

2. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

A. Finance:

- To achieve budgeted sales / order input by employing suitable marketing resources.

- To ensure no overdue outstanding

- To ensure uniform order input.

- To ensure sales through new avenues of business, new products and new customers.

B. Customer:

- To ensure customer satisfaction through effective after sales service, pre order and post order service.

- To ensure effective coordination with external customers like channel members, trade associations, industries etc. and internal customers like manufacturing divisions to achieve business objectives.

- To interact with all customers in the assigned territory and ensure customer satisfaction.

- To get feedback on product and services from customers.

C. Process:

- Ensure compliance to all exports norms

- Enquiry generation and conversion as well as submission of offers.

- To carry out product / sales promotion activities

- To gather market intelligence and information on competition and their activities in the market.

- To conduct seminars and exhibitions (as and when required).

- Contract review and close coordination with division and customer for smooth execution.

D. People:

- To keep self motivated by ensuring job clarity, setting periodic targets for achieving the budget.

- To ensure compliance with laid down procedures.

- To enhance knowledge through various sources like catalogues, factory visits etc.

- To ensure compliance with laid down processes and Departmental Work Instructions.
