Croma - Manager - Distribution & Capacity Planning (4-10 yrs)

Broad Objective : Includes working on long-term SC-optimization projects, AOP and its implementation, adherence to annual logistics plan, policy design, process compliance, process excellence & improvement

Primary Responsibility :

1. Consumes S&OP forecast & create capacities across distribution

a. CDS/manpower planning with operations team for cross docks

b. Linehaul and last mile vehicle capacity planning

c. Infra /asset planning for distribution & deliveries

2. Peak/festival planning with internal operations team

3. Drive digital initiatives across locations for efficiency

4. Recommends process change and drive its implementation with Process excellence team

5. Provides expertise to the cross-dock teams on optimization through route/frequency.

6. Works on distribution network design & cost-control initiatives

7. Leads procurement of linehaul & LM capacity, and smooth handover to operations

8. Develop & manage vendors' capacity ecosystem for Croma LH-network

a. Identification and scrutiny of requirements

b. Preparation of Business Model

c. Tendering & vendor selection

d. Contracting & management of vendors

9. Analyze profitable routes and recommends for captive transportation

10. Design and maintain masters' data for logistics spend analysis

11. Leads vendor scoring & enable better service quality for operations

Skills Required:

- Communicates with clarity & conciseness

- Able to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally

- Understanding of functional KPIs

- Knowledge and experience of project management skills

KPIs :

- CPS (manpower, LH & LM cost) & CPK

- Procurement cost savings vis- vis budget

- Improve trip utilization
