Lead: Category Marketing
- Build and continually refine category marketing charter and campaign calendar that can be used to help drive growth across the broader business
- Participate in the annual category planning process to set a fully integrated marketing plan as per category objectives
- Lead a team of category marketing associates to support business
- Identify industry trends and specific business opportunities - including cross sell and upsell opportunities - within our key categories and quickly develop campaigns and programs to capitalize on those opportunities
- Work in collaboration with functional heads in the development of brand communication planning including alignment with specialist departments such as media, production and design.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including digital, loyalty, creative, content, social, email, acquisition, sales enablement, PR/communications, regional marketing to identify appropriate channels for category campaign delivery that drive lead generation and retention
- Own reporting and analysis on category marketing programs, ensuring programs perform against goals and are optimized
- Lead strategy development, internal socialization and cross-functional execution of marketing programs for key brands, categories and services, determining appropriate integrated marketing support plan inclusive of CRM, digital, social, in-store promotion, internal communication and budget.
- Ensure flawless execution of tactical elements of marketing programs, including setting up promotional elements, working collaboratively with various Marketing teams, ensuring communication to store team, communication with brand partners etc
- Proactively work with key brand partners to fully leverage brand assets and budgets.
- Work with regional marketing team to ensure timely deployment of category assets & catchment activation plans.
- Explore co-marketing opportunities with brands and support execution
- Ensure brand guidelines adherence in all brand partner communication
- Support category brands for their campaign execution through Croma communication platforms
- Compile, analyse and interpret data for category campaign performance & update stakeholders
