CRMNext - Solution Architect

Experience:

- 15 years of proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.

- Previous project management experience is an advantage.

- Experience in banking sector.

- Experience in CRM domain would be an added advantage.

- In-depth understanding of coding languages.

- Sound knowledge of various databases and operating systems.

- Broad understanding of IT topics.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Building and Integrating Information Systems :

- Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture Practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standard methodology.

- Manage activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.

- Review business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution.

- Recommend potential options, which many include RFPs, RFIs or prototype development.

- Select the most optimal option, and the development of a road map for the selected solution.

- Assess the architecture of the system currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.

- Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.

2. Supervise/Guide and Resolve technical problems :

- Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.

- Directly assist in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental road maps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.

- Assure solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.

- Influence changes to standards when necessary.

- Develop and execute solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.

- Provide analysis of security protection technologies as necessary.

- Support the architectural aspects of all application projects in peer IT portfolios.

3. Communication :

- Inform various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented

- Communicate the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures

- Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets

- Provide updates on Business outcomes
