Crisil - Senior Research Analyst - Private Equity (3-6 yrs)
Role - Basic Responsibilities :
- The role involves supporting the Private Wealth team of a Singapore-based wealth management company
- The incumbent will be responsible for providing support at the deal origination phase with focus on financial analysis, deal assessment/evaluation, preparing presentation decks
- Help in conducting company analysis, industry analysis and deal assessment/valuation
- Perform analysis (such as scenario, variance, sensitivity, simulation), identify trends, and valuations for investment decisions
- Prepare presentation decks strategic planning to maximise the investors' returns
Role - Scale up Opportunities :
- Evaluate new deals and investment ideas for the company
- Support and increasing involvement in client interaction/discussions
- Evaluate financial performance and deal valuation/assessment
- Perform ad-hoc analysis for top management executives as required
Candidate Profile
- Mid-Level financial professional with 3-5+ years of professional experience in/or a combination of investment banking and private equity with basic understanding of modelling and financial analysis.
- Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills
- Exceptional critical thinking, quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal communications skills
- Attention to detail, ability to stretch and learn, high analytical rigor
- Solid desktop research skills as evidenced by secondary research skills and ideally primary research skills
- Strong analytical skills with familiarity performing financial and valuation analyses of private companies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Essential Qualifications
- MBA (Finance), CA or CFA (US). Prior financial modelling experience in Equity or Credit Research preferred
