Job title - Senior Research Analyst/Lead Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a part of the investment management team of a marquee US based Hedge Fund

- Work closely with seasoned investment professional to identify investment opportunities in US Software and Services Industry among other sectors

- Create and maintain financial models (from company filings), analyze and forecast financial statements, and value companies using Relative Valuation

- Complete ownership of maintaining all models including assisting the team during the earnings season

- Prepare and maintain proprietary databases to track the sector developments and trends

- Undertake company & industry level research

- Undertake bespoke research projects as per client requirements

- Create and update industry presentations as and when required

What are we looking for in you?

- Good understanding of finance / financial markets

- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy; Diligence and hard work

- Should have excellent MS Office skills (including advanced excel)

- Excellent research skills with strong accounting and finance knowledge

- The candidate should be open minded and willing to learn and grow on the role

Qualifications:

- MBA (Finance) or a Chartered Accountant with 4 - 6 years of prior financial modelling experience

- Prior equity research or investment banking experience covering the technology sector would be an added advantage
