Job Role:
The Analyst (Monitoring agency) would be required to work under guidance of senior(s) to prepare analysis based on review of various documents provided by clients. He / She would be required to analyse documents filed by capital market issuers, understand documentation nuances, seek supporting documents and certifications to ascertain usage of funds by issuer(s). These could be for IPO, Rights, QIP or preferential share issuances. The analyst would be required to be hands on with review of corporate / legal documentation, financials, accounting nuances, client interaction and be conversant in developing reports, presentations, and analysis.
The role would involve working as a part of team and would be a client facing job. Outstation travel is not expected; however, the analyst would be required to support seniors for meetings, presentations and calls
Skills Sets
A qualified CA/MBA/CS with at least 1 year of professional work experience.
Should have good:
1. IPO monitoring, concepts of monitoring
2. Sharp eye for identifying irregularities in utilisation of public proceeds
3. Understanding of Financial Markets
4. Financial acumen
5. Basic understanding of securities regulation
6. Ability to decrypt trends from data sets
7. Good communication skills
8. Command over MS Office - Excel, Powerpoint, Word
Preference:
1. Relevant experience of Monitoring agency related work in Banks/FIs
2. Capital Market division /Investment Banking Division
3. Monitoring cash flow of the company by monitoring invoices, receipts and records of business transactions
4. Monitoring transactions, identifying irregularities in invoices, monitor bank deposits and payments
