Job title :Research Analyst/ Senior Research Analysts Location Mumbai, India Experience 1 - 4 years Job Duties & Responsibilities 1. Business MIS and Operational Analytics a. Ownership of all external MIS to be sent from the business - weekly updates, periodic reviews with the CEO, Board and ExeCom meeting presentations, MD reports, annual report, and other ad-hoc requests b. Coordinate and run regular internal business calls 2. Strategic initiatives a. Execute the annual strategy exercise for the business b. Take up the annual budgeting exercise and maintain a close watch on the business- financial health through proactive revenue forecasting, and P&L analysis c. Prepare and co-ordinate task force work plan and actions d. Monitoring and regular follow-ups to showcase outcomes / goalposts e. Extend analytical and critical thinking support to the business leaders 3. Independent project management a. Identify avenues for increasing operational efficiency and new business opportunities b. Undertake pilot assignments and report periodic progress (Note: It can include one-time activities such as market sizing, new product development, and prototype creation, working on special reports / important proposals, formulating budget for business, providing decision support, secondary research, primary research etc. and business analysis) 4. Other Activities a. Manage and support effective functioning of GRRS COO office b. Plan and execute internal business events like town-halls, senior management meets, people meetings, client visits, visits from CRISIL teams outside India, etc. c. Liaise with other corporate functions (HR, Legal, Taxation, Finance, Marketing, Audit etc.) to ensure smooth execution of agreed deliverables like SoW review, internal audits, annual performance appraisal process, risk management and reporting, franchise agenda execution, etc. Qualification MBA Skills & Requirements - Good understanding of financial markets, and especially the BFSI industry - Strong quantitative and analytical skills - Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage tight schedules, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and liaise with the leadership team
