Role requires :

- Understand credit nuances of the sector

- Formulate credit framework and rating criteria on first principle basis; this credit framework and rating criteria will guide credit analysts to recommend ratings

- Ability to take feedback from credit market and senior credit analysts regarding sectors

- Test the proposed credit criteria with data and present the results to a credit committee comprising senior credit members

- Articulate the credit framework in criteria committee and defend the same

- Internal and external presentations on the credit criteria

- Address queries form regulators such as RBI and SEBI

Candidate needs :

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Strong credit analytical skills

- Strong understanding of financial concepts and business analysis with a credit orientation

- Strong understanding of Indian corporate/ BFSI sectors and the general economic & business environment

- Ability to work with large set of data/numbers and spot trends

- Excellent credit modelling skills

- Innovative and solution orientation with respective to problem solving

- Is flexible and adaptable to work on varied credit assignments

- Ability to think out-of-the box

- Ability to work with different credit teams in a deadline driven projects

- Should be self-motivated & work as team player for achieving the business objective

- Strong process and knowledge management orientation

Essential Qualifications :

- MBA(Finance)/ CFA equivalent with 0-3 years of experience

- Work experience in credit risk, risk management will be an advantage
