Role :

- Experience research Analyst to work with a hedge fund and support on carrying out financial research and valuation tracking various sectors/industries/companies primarily focusing on special situation and event based activities and, other tasks or research assignments

Candidate Profile :

- 5-7 years- experience in Equity Research with focus on special situations, LBO and M&A

- Strong understanding of M&A, Spin-offs, LBOs and other corporate action scenarios

- Strong Accounting knowledge and understanding on detailed accounting concepts

- Research securities of multiple industries and companies to provide investment analysis

- Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly

- Ability to direct interactions with clients

Position Responsibilities :

- Model and analyze publicly available company/industry financial data for special situations or event based

- Design, construct, and manage rigorous financial models to track historical data and create forecasts and work on pro-forma analysis

- Analyze financial and non-financial data using online and other data sources such as Bloomberg, and other financial databases

- Support on ad hoc research deliverables, such as earnings notes, quarterly updates, dailies and other products
