Financial Editor Location: Mumbai Overview This Editor role will entail assisting our global sell-side investment banking client's Research Publication team by editing English language research reports authored by native and non-native English speaking research analysts. The editor will work with a top investment bank and assist the bank's research publication team, production team, and supervisory analyst team in ensuring the reports are in-line with the bank's standards. The person should have good command (read/write/speak) over English. The role will involve liaising with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the business requirements are achieved. Your Work - Work closely with the research publication team of the client bank - Perform editing of research reports authored by native and non-native English speaking research analysts - Besides editing reports for grammar, structure, flow and the house-style, should also flag compliance and regulatory issues for quick action - Plan workflow as the research reports will range from short company notes to large thematic reports - Function as gate-keeper in ensuring adherence to the client's compliance and disclosure norms - Ensure editing time turnaround is efficient for on-time publication of reports - Liaise with the client analysts and desktop publishing teams for seamless delivery of the reports - Liaise with the client Head of Publication for process improvements Skills Required - In-depth experience in financial media, investment banks and research firms - Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Proven track record in editing complex reports - Hold relevant Master's degree - Bachelor's degree with relevant experience will also be considered - Prior exposure to capital markets will be an advantage - Good interpersonal skills to work well in a team and co-operate to achieve success - Innovative thinking and solution orientation - Willingness to learn - High flexibility in working hours
