Credit Analysis - REIT's & CMBS (30 Days or Immediate Joiner only)

Role: Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for generating new issue credit writeups for CMBS deals post underwriting of loan collateral.

2. Responsible for analyzing Real Estate Investment Trusts from credit standpoint and write credit opinion writeups for REIT names under coverage with financial modelling of those companies.

3. Responsible for preparing Research Review deck highlighting key themes in commercial real estate markets.

4. Responsible for using third party tools like Trepp, Costar, S&P Market Intelligence Platform to incorporate the research in credit analysis of REITs/ CMBS.

5. Responsible for participating in investor conferences hosted virtually to form an understanding on forecasting of various credit metrics by asking questions to senior management.

6. Responsible for portfolio construction exercise (Quartiling) each production month.

7. Responsible for assisting in CMBS held portfolio surveillance.

Qualifications:

- Postgraduate degree in Finance/Accounting/Management from top tier university with graduation in Engineering preferably Computer Science.

- Any progress towards CFA/FRM or Specialization in Real Estate finance is preferred

Required Skills:

- 2+ years of experience in Real Estate markets is preferred.

- Exposure to third party tools like trepp, costar, SNL is a plus

- Exposure to SQL, VBA is preferred.

- Experience in Credit analysis
