Job Description Sheet: Job title - Analyst/Senior Analyst Location - Krakow - Poland Experience : 3-5 years Job Duties : Business Analyst - Credit Risk Control Investment Bank - Supervise control remediation projects which will be led by either a dedicated SME project manager or in some cases lead a project until such time as it can be handed over to a dedicated SME project manager - Assess and advise what looks good for our controls environment in a role pivotal in defining how Group Technology implements the firm's operational risk framework - Advise stakeholders on control implementation, risk process improvements, as well as managing the underlying analysis and defining recommendations - Routinely interface with various stakeholders across all of Group Technology's functional streams, as well as with the Technology Risk Management organization and the firm's 2nd and 3rd line control functions. - Support the implementation of Continuous Controls Monitoring for Group Technology-owned Controls - Consult and provide expertise in risk-related frameworks, regulations, policies, processes & tools - Establish and maintain an effective culture of risk management - Communicates risk management processes, results and recommendations to management and employees to support the implementation of Risk Management Policies - Prepares daily credit risk reports, proactively addressing over line issues with counter parties and Marketing Department in an effective manner - Owns credit document execution process; effectively coordinates multiple department sign offs with strong follow through skills and attention to detail - Coordinates credit information gathering processes with internal and external customers - Assists in maintaining systems of electronic files and handling of routine requests - Reviews company contracts for potential credit risks; identifies risks and communicates results clearly - Participates actively in credit discussions and prepare reports and summaries independently Qualification - Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in finance, economics, accounting, or related field - MBA/ FRM/ CPA/ CFA/ CA/ Financial Accounting, Risk Management, Professional B.A. qualification (e.g. ECBA/ CCBA/ CBAP / PMI-PBA / IIBA-AAC/ PMI-ACP) are preferred Skills Required Business analysis competencies : - Intermediate computer skills to include knowledge of Excel, MS Word.
