Role :

- Lead a team of analysts involved in recovery risk ratings of stressed assets

- The role involves credit ratings and recovery ratings

- Recovery risk rating assignments involve:

- Analyzing various resolution strategies (such as restructuring; sale of business; sale of assets; settlement) adopted by asset reconstruction companies (ARCs) to resolve stressed assets

- Assessing the future cashflows basis these resolution strategies

- Generate insights from financial statements, term sheets/agreements, regulatory orders

- Credit rating assignments involve rigorous credit risk analysis encompassing industry / business research and financial analysis of corporates

- Client Management / Stakeholder Management.

- Discuss with the key management personnel of the corporates being rated to understand their strategy and business model

- Explain the final rating assigned to the bank facilities of the client

- Analyze Company's financial performance which include.

- Past financial and business performance & Benchmark these against peers' performance.

- Validate future performance of the company prepared by analysts (with assumptions)

- Undertake rigorous credit risk analysis encompassing industry / business research and financial analysis of various large corporates.

- Assign Ratings and prepare reports that cogently capture the rationale behind the rating.

- Make credit rating recommendation to the Rating Committee.

- Ensure adherence to timelines.

- Maintain a high quality of analytics and rating committee presentation.

- Complete ownership of key client accounts. Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the account through analytical team. Interfacing with clients for all operational activities.

- Leading and managing a team of 5-6 analysts. Responsible for all activities (including performance appraisal & engagement activities) of the entire team.

- Team & account management would include, but not limited to, staffing, talent retention, training & development of the team, coaching, sharing of best practices, providing feedback, appraisal management, etc.

- Undertake regular liaison with client management and analyst teams to gauge feedback and satisfaction.

- Supporting thought leadership and content building exercises in the large corporates area

Candidate Profile :

- Credit analysis/ research experience preferably for Large Corporates, stressed assets in banks/credit rating agencies/asset reconstruction companies.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills primarily focused on managing client communication and report writing

- Has relevant experience in managing teams

- Experience in handling CXO conversations at in-person meetings

- Proficient using MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Power Point
