Job Title: Associate Director

Role

The role will require working closely with business heads and product managers and create & deliver solutions based on Python and machine learning.

Key responsibilities include:

- Understanding broad trends in the use of machine learning methodologies to banking analytics

- Lead niche analytics assignments & pilots and help clients meet their analytical objectives

- Use relevant technology platforms/tools to deliver best-in-class solutions

- Solve problems of large dimensionality in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner

- Conduct analysis, draw insights and present findings to client.

- Act as a subject matter expert and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders in driving business expansion in the niche analytics space

- Participate in internal training activities & mentor junior quants in the team

Process Adherence :

- Focus on review / QC, adding analytical inputs, when required

- Create and maintain base level training, process manuals & documentation to ensure smooth execution of tasks

- Adopt the defined processes in day to day execution of assignments

- Identify process improvement avenues and identify value-added work

- Strictly practice and follow all Compliance, Confidentiality, and Information Security Policies, Procedures and Guidelines of the Organization.

- Suggest that trading/holding in shares belonging to a Corporate entity/Infrastructure company is prohibited

People Development :

- Provide analytical mentoring to junior members of the team

- Implement team-level initiatives

Candidate Profile :

- A background or profile in Machine Learning, quantitative methods, predictive modeling, statistics or similar.

- Experienced with analytical tools such as R, SAS or MATLAB required

- Experience in data handling and manipulation in Python using Pandas and Numpy

- Experience in supervised and unsupervised Machine learning algorithms such as Logistic Regression, KNN, Random Forest, Adaboost, XgBoost, Grandient Descent, KMeans etc

- Writing and processing machine learning algorithms on large scale structured and unstructured data such as sentiment analysis, NER, Classification, Information Extraction

- Experience with no- SQL databases like MongoDB & data visualization tools would be a plus

- Good communication skills, team-work and flexibility

Essential Qualifications :

Master in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Operations Research or other Quantitative Discipline

Preferred Qualifications :

Master in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Operations Research or other Quantitative Discipline
