Crimson Interactive - Finance Controller

Roles and Responsibilities

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Walkthrough of exceptions for the Cause of Change - P&L and B/S.

- Analyzes financial data and market trends.z

- Analyzes information, forecast sales against expenses, and creates annual budget plans

- Analyzes differences between actual budget wages and forecasted wages for more efficient budget planning

- Implements a system of appropriate controls to manage business risks

- Streamlining accounting functions and operations

- Business partnering - work closely with company leaders to develop financial forecasts and operational goals, apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision-making

- Additional controller duties as necessary

Desired Candidate Profile

- 7+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

- Experience with creating financial statements

- Mumbai based candidates are preferred
