Credit Underwriting Expert - BFSI (10-14 yrs)
Our Client is committed to making two-wheeler finance options available to all deserving and eligible customers. Looking for a Credit Underwriting expert who has strong retail finance background and has managed two wheeler business or personal loans.
Major responsibilities
- Develop company's credit appraisal expertise by defining credit strategy and policy - Underwriting process, automation, define risk parameters, reduce credit appraisal cost
- Identify, learn and build qualitative insights/ parameters in credit appraisal algorithms/ templates periodically
- Reduce TAT for credit appraisal process
- Define and monitor the risk desk
- Give credit input for lease (Securitization, underwriting corporate)
- Approve escalated loan cases
Preferred experience/ background
- Retail finance background
- High volume, small ticket size business
- Two-wheeler business environment
- Personal loans, retail loans
- Cash-flow based credit appraisal
- Should have excellent analytical skills and excel skill
