Credit Suisse - Vice President - Business Risk & Process Solutions - Cross Border/Market Management/SR/AO/BPRS Team (10-15 yrs)

Your field of responsibility

Credit Suisse is looking for a team member for Cross Border, Mkt Mgmt, SR, AO BRPS team. The team member will be responsible for definition and implementation of a standard methodology to handle respective topics and chance to lead the first line of defense framework.

You will be the 1LoD owner for this risk/ process theme, lead the definition and implementation of adequate control landscapes, own the Target Operating Model and be the risk mentor for Front Office.

Your responsibilities include :

- Define the relevant framework and standards in line with Global framework, policies and (global minimum) standards as well as local regulatory requirements.

- In collaboration with relevant process and control owners, craft and implement processes and controls in line with framework and standards, including risk appetite

- Optimize operational efficiency and risk mitigation effectiveness in the design of processes and controls by demonstrating and deploying new and existing technologies

- Take leadership to build and maintain an adequate control landscape

- Chance to Lead the risk, control and process environment for the relevant topics (including KRI/KPIs, incidents, e-cases, MICOS) to ensure control

- Promote and improve the risk and control culture front-to-back, amongst all relevant partners

- Provide industry intelligence and be aware of industry practice. Maintain the Target Operating Model and take ownership of the required changes

- Ensure consistent Front Office engagement using the feedback as a source of input for the changes to achieve the required level of compliance in a Front Office friendly manner

- Establish positive relationships with key internal and external collaborators

- Chance to Lead key partners and local / regional management relationships as well as serve as an advisor and sparring partner to local and regional management

You will work closely and collaborate with colleagues in the BRPS team, FLDS, respective BA COO and other collaborators (incl. Compliance) to push the relevant topic agenda forward with sound mentorship and efficient oversight.

Your skills and experience

To excel in this role, you should possess below:

- University degree or equivalent education, further education e.g., Master's degree, MBA, CFA, PMI

- At least 10+ years of experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management with particular focus on Cross Border and Market Management, SR & AO, etc

- Hands-on experience and accountability in Private Banking / Wealth Management

- Displayed knowledge and leadership of risk and control culture

- Experienced in teamwork and coordination of global teams

- Experience collaborating closely with key regulators (e.g. FINMA, MAS, HKMA / SFC etc)

- Outstanding Experience in Project Management would be an advantage

- Effective communication and stakeholder-management skills, particularly in the ability to collaborate closely with senior Front Office as well as other key partners and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

- Ability to engage, collaborate with and influence a broad partner group that include business leaders, compliance and technology.

- Strong operations orientation with the knowledge craft scalable processes and use analytics and technology solutions to mitigate risk and increase efficiencies

- Strong client and problem-solving experience with the excellent ability to lead multiple senior level partners confidently, transparently and efficiently

- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking combined with result-orientation, problem solving and pragmatic implementation capabilities.

- Outstanding capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

- Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time under pressure with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards.
