ERM Scenario Execution & Analytics


Your field of responsibility :

You will be part of Credit Suisse's Group ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) function responsible for stress testing which is used for internal risk management and regulatory requirements. This role would be part of the Scenarios Execution and Analytics team within ERM, and based in Mumbai

- The successful candidate will be responsible to support key credit and market risk deliverables, including process development and refinement

- You will also help to drive infrastructure automation projects, this would involve working in close partnership with project managers, IT teams and functional leads

- Produce and present analysis on a variety of risk initiatives and/or ad hoc requests for senior management and regulators

- Produce status reports and dashboards with impactful views of progress on key deliverables. Support construction of presentations for regulatory bodies (e.g., FINMA)

- Support process developments and control enhancements

- Build and maintain: collaborations to provide support and guidance across ERM matters; product and risk subject matter expertise; knowledge on current rule making and industry developments regarding risk regulatory reform

- Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) provides group-wide risk analysis, reporting and control, covering Credit Suisse's global risk profile, and develops and coordinates firm-wide frameworks and strategy. ERM functions include risk appetite, risk identification, scenario design, stress testing & capital adequacy (e.g., ICAAP), methodologies, and reporting.


- By being part of the Global Stress Testing group you will be fostering and working with Scenario Execution and Analytics team focused on strengthening, holistic risk coverage and optimize the capital planning process corresponding with the firm's risk profile.

Your skills and experience :

To excel in this role, you should possess :

- Proven experience in Credit risk and/or market risk portfolio management activities, ideally gained in a consulting firm, big four or tier 1 financial institution

- Exposure to risk management concepts: VaR, IRC, Greeks, PE, LGD, PD, stress loss and risk identification associated with the portfolio

Sound R, Python and MS Access skills. Ability to summarizing large complex data, making conclusions and addressing senior management in a simple way

- Deep understanding of financial markets, private banking and investment banking products including sound derivative knowledge.

- Understanding and past experience in a strict control's environment (e.g. BCBS239, SR11-17, etc.)

- Proven ability to identify various opportunities to improve controls and processes, and you are able to work with other teams to implement these improvements

- Proven financial and risk modelling skills (degree in business, finance or economics preferred)

- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills with a high level of flexibility, a positive personality and can-do attitude

- Proven ability to work independently and balance multiple items under the time pressure

- A pragmatic and solution oriented working style with outstanding social skills

- Willingness and hands-on experience in a short turnaround time analytics reporting role
