Your field of responsibility :

Join us as a Senior Model Validator in the Model Risk Management (MRM) function.

In this role, you will independently validate a diverse set of models, and provide oversight to projects assigned to junior validators in the team. The models in scope include pricing, stress testing, financial planning and other business areas. Overall, in your validation you will review-and-challenge all model aspects, collaborate with global partners to drive balanced improvements in the model landscape, present your validation work to senior management forums, and gain exposure to a large number of models across the inventory.

Your future colleagues :

You will be a part of the MRM department within the Risk and Compliance division. In banks financial models are essential and ubiquitous in discerning patterns from the past and in forecasting results for the future. MRM is responsible for providing a centralized framework for managing the risks associated with using models. Your skills and experience

To qualify for the role you should have :

- 4 years+ proven experience in a relevant field e.g. finance, modelling, risk management is essential

- Experience in model development or model validation

- Outstanding training in a technical modelling area such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering etc.

- Experience of partnership with internal and external partners in a multi-cultural environment

- Result oriented, dedicated, curious, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time under pressure with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards

- Understands the value of diversity in the workplace and is dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture in all aspects of working life so that people from all backgrounds receive equal treatment, realize their full potential and can bring their full, authentic selves to work
