We Offer : Global Markets Technology provides creative, robust and commercially differentiating front-to-back technology solutions to the Global Markets division, in support of delivering a high performing, transparent, and fully integrated markets franchise to our clients. You will have a global remit and be responsible for leading the GM Trade Management (TM) IT function in India; this role will include functional responsibility for trade management components that underpin global businesses of GM and other CS divisions and defining and implementing the regional TM workforce strategy. You will be expected to own and drive improvements to the aforementioned areas of focus and play a fundamental role in developing the departments culture via training, mentoring and education. Specific areas of responsibility include : - Functional ownership of critical IT applications covering diverse TM applications - Global partner management covering GM, APAC and other divisions and including sales & trading, trade management / operations, operational risk & audit, Financial Regulation and other IT teams - Regional workforce strategy including recruitment, retention, innovation, staff development & mentoring to reach potential, internal mobility & staff promotion, optimising workforce cost base for delivery - Global management team member responsible for strategic alignment with the TM, GM business and IT strategies, being responsible for the strategy and collaborative with peers across IT to continuously further strategic goals - Minimising operational risk whilst instilling a team culture of risk identification and mitigation - Continuously seeking to simplify and automate the TM operational business environment - Handling the compliance with internal standards and procedures and iteratively improving developer productivity through DevOps - Vendor engagement management incl. vendor staff efficiency, vendor operational and contractual oversight You Offer : - You have proficiency in building and supporting distributed trade processing applications in Java/.Net required (Oracle knowledge helpful) - You have subject matter authority in pre and/or post trade processing for derivatives (ideally both) i.e. affirmation & clearing, storage & distribution, lifecycle processing - You have experience handling vendor engagements - You have financial product knowledge ideally in derivatives a distinct advantage - You have experience building, leading and motivating a 50+ global IT team - You have able to establish positive relationships with IT and business partners, and demonstrate good management skills when taking care of conflicting priorities - You have the ability to - push back-, challenge and enquire - You have experience translating your vision into an evolving multi-year strategy and engaging and motivating our team to deliver - Experience in a cost control environment including application/hardware rationalisation and optimisation of resources (technical & human) - Experience in robotics, machine learning and a working knowledge of ISDA CDM and distributed ledger is helpful - Awareness of industry trade management platforms/utilities id helpful Credit Suisse is an equal opportunity employer.
