We Offer

Establish and develop effective working relationships with Management of business units for which incumbent has risk assessment responsibility.


- Act as liaison with Management to ensure full understanding of business strategy, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues at business unit level and communicating these to the relevant Functional Team members via bottom-up continuing risk assessments and dialogue.


- Perform, support or lead where directed, the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established standards and timelines.


- Provide support to departments BDC strategy by development and provision of centralized audit services to the wider CSG Internal Audit department, including continuous risk monitoring of business activities, and periodic analysis of business performance and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)..


- Provide non-assurance services to business units where required, through participation on advisory engagements / special projects within the Group.


- Where undertaking the role of Team Leader, provide interim performance feedback to team members through written evaluations.


- Share knowledge, skills and experience with team members to guide and assist in their development.


- Assessment of the effectiveness of the Bank's control environment, assessing compliance with laws, regulations and best practices, and identifying commercial and practical solutions to mitigate identified risks.

You Offer

Education / Experience:

- Degree in Accounting, or similar qualification


- Professionally qualified (either CA or CPA)


- Candidate will require a thorough understanding of investment banking control environment and financial services products, particularly with regards to operations, further support functions, and the regulatory environment. In addition, a candidate should have extremely good analytical, project management and communication skills on all levels of management.


Personal Characteristics:


- The candidate should work effectively as part of a team whilst being flexible in the way they approach their work, have strong communication skills and work effectively under pressure. He/she should be able to multi-task assignments and prioritize their workload with minimal supervision, be resilient under pressure and being responsive to ad-hoc requests from senior management.


- Candidate should be creative, innovative, self-motivated and delivery oriented, the candidate will also be able to demonstrate confidence and a - can-do / will-do- attitude. Furthermore, highest professional and ethical standards, personal gravitas and the ability to stand ground when challenged are important to the success of the role.


- The successful candidate should further demonstrate strong strategic/analytical thinking, capacity to respond to and support positive change, experience in delivering work under tight deadlines and continuing development technical expertise. - Appetite for international travel is necessary, as some will be required from time to time.
