Credit Risk Modeling/Validating/Strategy Role - Consumer Banking (2-6 yrs)

The candidate is required to: (Modeling)

- Define guiding principles/design policies to manage credit risk

- Develop, implement and maintain credit underwriting strategy for consumer and commercial lending products - Develop strategies for risk based pricing and credit line management

- Discover insights from a myriad of data sources that can help predict ability to pay and intent to pay

- Liaise with stakeholders and business leaders to gather requirements and deliver risk solution

- Establishing, implementing and maintaining the comprehensive enterprise-wide risk governance framework for the customer lifecycle

The candidate is required to:(Validating)

- Monitoring of existing models on a regular basis, Review machine learning techniques over and above traditional techniques like regression, decision trees etc.

- Conduct end-to end assessment of data collection, data preparation and data analysis stages

- Define guiding principles/design policies to manage model risk - Develop, implement and maintain model risk management framework

- Liaise with analytics and engineering to gather requirements and deliver mitigation solution

- Identify model limitations and ensure the appropriate remediation actions are in place and monitored

Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics/Engineering or other quantitative disciplines

- 1 - 6 years of analytics work experience in Consumer Banking, Financial services, Payments industries, eCommerce - Working knowledge of SAS, R, Python and other analytical tools

- The candidate should possess analytical bend of mind and should be comfortable with ambiguity

- Candidate should have good stakeholder management skills for this level of experience

- Tremendous drive towards results. Ability to persist against obstacles and get things done

- Strong communication skills, relationship management, interpersonal skills - ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams with an eye for detail
