Credit Risk Analytics - Big4

Overall Job Purpose :

The role is for one of our MNC clients (one of the big 4) for supporting & leading the projects leveraging on analytics.

The responsibilities include understanding the business problem, devising an optimal approach, formulation of data requirements, solution/model development, validation using different statistical techniques to getting in buy-in from the client in terms of the solution provided.

It involves continuous engagement and interaction with clients as also being responsible for service delivery of the project.

The candidate should possess the following competencies :

- Analytical ability - well developed analysis skills, evidenced through data analysis, strategy formulation, model development and validation. Desire to proactively keep their own specialist skills and knowledge at leading edge standard in order to fulfill their role.

- Preferably the individual has a clear understanding and meaningful experience in performing data analysis using a standard statistical packages such as SAS,SPSS, R, ACL,SQL.

- The candidate should have had the experience of using statistical techniques like linear/logistic regression, CHAID/CART, clustering, segmentation, optimization methods including linear programming, forecasting methods involving ARIMA models etc. Possesses excellent excel and power point capabilities.

- Team working - enjoys working in project teams across the business and can mentor/guide team members on projects.

- Conceptual thinking - strong strategic thinker with good commercial orientation. Able to see inside complex business problems to the core issues and provide solutions to clients which are efficient and optimal.

- Communication - effectively and concisely represent key facts and issues through written and oral communication with minor supervision. Possess the capability of interfacing with clients at different levels effectively to ensure project delivery. Ability to communicate analytical information to audience with non-analytics background.

- Innovation - Innovative thinking in terms of devising solutions for clients as well as strategic problem solving.

- Initiative taking - takes initiatives in project delivery, client discussions, business development activities and participation in team/firm events. Shows zeal to learn new things and ready to take up challenging work and roles.
