THE ROLE

A challenging role, as Credit Risk Analyst you will be tasked with driving a variety of analytically driven secured portfolio strategies. The results of your work will drive fast paced, business critical decisions for some of the UK/US largest lending portfolios. This therefore offers you significant learning opportunity with a chance to gain exposure through your stakeholder work to wider banking strategy across various portfolios.

You will remain hands on with R, Python & SQL in your role, and will be expected to undertake risk management activities and wider strategic analysis including key model controls, risk appetite analysis, portfolio analysis, new product development and strategic retail risk initiatives. On top of the analysis, you will be a key point of contact for stakeholders and decision makers alike.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

This high profile Credit Risk Analyst will likely have the following skills and experience:

- Educated to a degree level in a numerate discipline

- Proven commercial Credit Risk experience in a hands-on role

- Strong R, Python & SQL skills, comfortable coding and working with models daily

- Exposure to secured portfolios preferred

- Strong stakeholder management skills

- Interested in progressing as a mentor, with managerial aims down the line
