Job Description -

- Manage credit risk of the Bank Retail lending portfolio by providing analytical support

- Build, monitor and manage Risk strategies at an underwriting level and portfolio management level

- Identify risky pockets where Credit Risk is being observed. Responsible for managing end-to-end risk of the portfolio

- Liaise with stakeholders, Business managers, Credit Managers to understand business problem, Conceptualize the analytical approach with respect to the stated business/risk objective that will help deliver analytical solution in the Risk domain

- Guide/ mentor junior team members on analytical tools and analytical project management

- Work under the guidelines provided by top management on key risk and control parameters through analytical interventions

- Ensure documentation of analytical deliverables and lead process enhancement initiatives

Key Result Area:

- Ensure the risk levels are well within benchmark by taking suitable risk actions and interventions

- Moving away from existing analytical tools like SAS E miner into R and Python

- Create innovative variables that can predict risk

- Work towards using alternate data sources and embed the same in our existing risk management framework
