Credit Research Analyst - Corporate Buy Side - BFSI (3-8 yrs)

Chennai/Mumbai/Pune Job Code: 716400

- Carry out fundamental credit analysis, including basic financial modelling, for new bond issuances across sectors mostly in High-yield (HY) corporates

- Writing crisp and analytical credit reports for the coverage, covering all the relevant and current aspects of the issuer including the sector nuances, financial forecast for 2-3 years

- Detailed credit analysis on stressed HY corporates with a focus on capital structure, liquidity, sensitivity, recovery

- Quickly develop understanding of the operating and financial metrics relevant for any new sector in coverage

- The role requires regular surveillance of the assigned portfolio by proactively tracking the company events (including quarterly earnings, regulatory updates), peer group and other industry information sources

- The analyst will be required to present his research to internal stakeholders or clients during meetings or over conference calls

- Engage with client teams proactively and suggest new ideas to enhance client engagement

Candidate Profile :

- Strong background in conducting credit analysis of corporates

- Strong analytical skills with ability to undertake quick review of new bond issuances

- Good writing skills with ability to quickly turn around analytical credit reports

- Good communication skills, written and verbal

- Attention to detail

- Should be capable of multi-tasking and handling projects with tight deadlines

- Flexibility to work on multiple time-zones, in-line with client requirements
